This week I had the privilege of attending the Italian market launch of the new Liv Devote Advanced 0, the flagship of the renowned bike manufacturer dedicated exclusively to women, part of the prestigious Giant. La bicicletta è da poco uscita dall’embargo ed è stata per la prima volta presentata in Italia.
The event was extraordinary not only for the introduction of this exceptional product to the market, but also for Liv’s commitment to actively engage the female audience in the Italian gravel scene. It is evident how interest in gravel events has been growing exponentially in recent years, and with it the participation of women.
Liv is personally committed to promoting the women’s community, participating in numerous events and supporting Unpaved Roads, one of the most celebrated gravel events in Italy. Several groups of women cyclists are emerging strongly at these events, such as the Bike Boobs of Mugello and the collective CC Pink of Turin, where Serena of My Family Bike is a leading figure and one of the founding members of the Ciclocentrico store.

The founders of Cyclocentric, Massimo and Valerio, have turned their passion into a profession that gives tangible dreams to a growing community of enthusiasts. In addition, Serena, Valerio’s wife, with her overwhelming enthusiasm, has been able to engage many new female adventurers through her CC Pink community. Serena and Valerio fully believe in what they do, and on each of their bicycle trips, they bring along their charming daughters, whose adventures can also be followed on their Instagram page.
Ultimately, the initial context of this extraordinary experience took place in a place rich in cycling history and culture in the heart of Piedmont, once again confirming the importance of promoting adventure cycling and the involvement of women in this exciting world.

Thanks to the Flip Chip, you can customize the Liv Devote Advanced 0 depending on the type of route you wish to take. This innovative system allows you to adjust the length of the wheelbase and the passage of the rear wheels. You can opt for the shorter configuration, ideal for a nimble ride and lightning-fast acceleration, or choose the longer configuration for greater stability, room for wider tires, and extra traction. Plus, the integrated compartment in the down tube gives you enough room to stash a multitool and a few energy bars, giving you the freedom to explore you’ve always wanted. Group and Wheels
La Liv Devote Advanced 0 is equipped with Giant CXR 2 carbon wheels, lightweight and responsive, already fitted with a pair of CADEX AR, 700x40c tubeless tires, offering greater comfort and control. The presence of disc brakes ensures safe and modular braking in all conditions. The Shimano GRX FC-RX820 groupset, with a 31/48-tooth crankset, combines perfectly with a Shimano 12-speed 11/36-tooth sprocket set, providing an ideal gearing for smoothly tackling even the most challenging climbs on domestic gravel trails.
